Phoebe II Florida Keys charter fishing Reviews

After talking with many charter boat captains, from Islamorada to Key West, and inspecting their boats my wife and I decided to go fishing with Capt. Frank of Chelsea Charters. Here's why: Capt Frank has a great demeanor and attitude. He understands that you are here on vacation and want to have Fun fishing and catching. He is more than willing to answer your questions and take you after the fish YOU want to catch. Jason, the First Mate, told us he was born and raised in the Keys and it shows because he really knows how to fish the waters around the Keys. He worked his butt off to make sure our trip was a success, and it was. We caught so many dolphin (Mahi Mahi), we had to give about half of it away. THEN THERE IS THE BOAT! SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED! Captain Frank told us his boat is a 1978 Hatteras, and were we ever shocked,! His boat looked so much better than most of the newer boats in the marina. The boat performed flawlessly,as did the crew, and his boat was worlds apart in cleanliness from the others we went on. We will definitely go fishing, oops, I meant catching with them again!

"Fishing on the Phoebe with Chelsea Charters is certainly an experience I will do again."
Capt Frank and his first mate were knowledgeable, courteous and put forth an effort that produced where other boats landed nada. My trip was planned for months for which I was eager to get some crazy fishing in. Upon arriving in the keys, all I was hearing was disappointment due to no fish. Luckily I had secured my charter with Chelsea Charters because we nailed em! Mutton, mangrove, yellowtail snapper, kings, jacks and a hammerhead to boot. Capt. Frank is your best bet fishing in Islamorada.

The captain and mate on the 43' Phoebe couldn't have been any nicer or worked any harder. We had a great day on the water catching lots of Mahi Mahi and even 2 Yahoo. It's such a joy to spend the day trolling in the Florida Keys when you have a great crew

Captain Frank & First Mate Jason,
Just wanted to Thank You again for the great charter last week. I have fished in the Keys for many years and picking the right charter boat can really be tough! You guys did a perfect job...we couldn't have been happier with your boat, gear and the two of you really love to fish...which made the day lots of fun for my whole family. It meant so much to me that you encouraged my daughter to reel in that sailfish, coaching and helping in such a positive way...she tells everyone about the HUGE fish SHE caught! We can't wait to do it again! We'll see you again hopefully in a few months.

I just did a fishing charter on the Phoebe last Sunday and I just had to give you my comment.
My 2 cousins and 2 other friends joined us on our fishing trip on your boat. The sea conditions were pretty rough and the first thing you did was to give us options. We elected to go Dolphin fishing. It was a tough sea and I just have to say you guys did all you could to ensure we caught fish. You worked your butts off right to the end.
As our Captain you were very confident and passed this surety on to us making us feel very comfortable with your abilities. We ended up catching 8 Dolphin and 1 Bonita which I believe we did better them most other boats that day. My gang was happy and we all went away with a very good feeling and fish to boot.
I'm not sure when the next time we will be charter fishing in the Keys but I will certainly refer your boat to anyone that asks as I personally live near Ft. Lauderdale.
Thank you for making my family and friends happy with their first deep sea charter.
Sincerely,
Richard G
